The primary challenge for a small city with a limited territorial area is to manage land use sustainably in order to preserve environmental quality and enhance the well-being of its residents. This study applies a descriptive qualitative approach based on a literature review of academic journals, institutional reports, and policy documents related to spatial utilization in Magelang City. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, involving data reduction, thematic data display, and conclusion drawing with verification. The results reveal that spatial constraints have led to increasing residential density, a declining proportion of green open spaces, greater pressure on basic infrastructure, and mobility congestion in certain areas. Population growth and land-use changes further intensify the risk of slum development and environmental degradation. These findings underscore the need for more efficient and sustainable spatial management strategies through vertical space utilization, revitalization of older urban areas, and strengthened land-use control to ensure controlled urban development. Policy recommendations include adopting the compact city concept, promoting vertical development, revitalizing densely populated areas, strengthening land-use regulation based on Detailed Spatial Plans (RDTR), and increasing as well as protecting the proportion of green open spaces to support environmental quality and urban welfare.
2026-02-18T08:19:35+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://jurnal.magelangkota.go.id/index.php/cendelainovasi/article/view/248PENGARUH TERAPI TANDEM WALKING EXERCISE TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KESEIMBANGAN UNTUK MENGURANGI RISIKO JATUH PADA LANSIA2026-02-18T08:25:55+00:00Esti Nawang Rininingtyasesti1219.en@gmail.comPramono Giri KriswoyoPramono.giri@yahoo.co.idAdi Isworoadiisworo@yahoo.comMoh Hanafihanafi10@ymail.com
The aging process leads to a decline in musculoskeletal and neuromuscular function, increasing the risk of falls among older adults. The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that approximately 28–35% of individuals aged ≥65 years experience falls annually, with prevalence in Indonesia ranging from 12–29%. One preventive strategy to reduce fall risk is Tandem Walking Exercise. This study aimed to analyze the effect of Tandem Walking Exercise on balance in older adults, measured using the Timed Up and Go Test (TUGT) as an indicator of fall risk. This study employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest approach. The sample consisted of 33 older adults selected through purposive sampling in the working area of Bandongan Public Health Center, Magelang Regency. The intervention was conducted for one week with a total of three exercise sessions. Balance was assessed before and after the intervention using the TUGT. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed a significant difference in TUGT scores before and after the intervention (p < 0.05), indicating improved balance and reduced fall risk among older adults. Tandem Walking Exercise has a significant effect on improving balance and can serve as an alternative preventive intervention in community settings. However, the generalizability of the findings is limited due to the absence of a control group, short intervention duration, and small sample size.
2026-02-18T08:20:32+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://jurnal.magelangkota.go.id/index.php/cendelainovasi/article/view/260FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHI PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT PADA PROGRAM KOTA TANPA KUMUH (KOTAKU) DI KABUPATEN TULUNGAGUNG2026-02-18T08:26:06+00:00Ayu Pandansariayupandansari@mail.ugm.ac.idDeva Fosterharoldas Swastoayupandansari@mail.ugm.ac.id
Slum settlements remain a crucial issue in Indonesia, where the Kota Tanpa Kumuh (KOTAKU) Program serves as a strategic community-based development initiative that emphasizes community participation as a key component of implementation. Differences in the characteristics of urban and rural communities may influence the level of community participation. This study aims to verify the factors affecting community participation in the implementation of the KOTAKU Program in Tulungagung Regency by comparing urban (kelurahan) and rural (desa) areas. This research employs a mixed-method approach combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations in Tertek Urban Village and Serut Village. Seven variables were analyzed, including external parties, willingness, ability, opportunity, community understanding, social climate, and environmental knowledge. The results indicate that all seven variables influence community participation and are present in both locations, although the dominant factors differ. Some variables function as strong or weak supporting factors, while others tend to act as inhibiting factors due to high dependency on external parties. The study recommends a deeper understanding of community characteristics to ensure that similar programs in the future are implemented in a more contextual and adaptive manner.
2026-02-18T08:21:14+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://jurnal.magelangkota.go.id/index.php/cendelainovasi/article/view/237EFEKTIVITAS KOMBINASI BRAIN GYM DAN MATCHING CARD GAME TERHADAP PENINGKATAN FUNGSI KOGNITIF PADA LANSIA2026-02-18T09:50:41+00:00Pramono Pramonopramono.ac213@gmail.comPramono Giri KriswoyoPramono.giri@yahoo.co.idMoh Ridwanmohridwan_2009@yahoo.comErna Erawatiernaerawati57@yahoo.com
Cognitive decline in older adults is a serious issue that increases the risk of dementia and reduces independence and quality of life. Dementia, particularly Alzheimer's disease, is the most common type, with risk factors including age, genetics, hypertension, and diabetes. Brain gym and matching card game therapies are known to stimulate cognitive abilities; however, their combined effect has not been widely studied. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of combining brain gym and matching card game interventions in improving cognitive function among older adults. This research employed a quantitative pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest approach. A total of 35 older adults were selected using purposive sampling based on inclusion criteria. Cognitive function was measured using the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test to assess differences before and after the intervention. Respondent characteristics showed that 77% were aged 60–74 years, 83% were female, and 54% had elementary school education. The results indicated a significant difference in cognitive function scores before and after the combined brain gym and matching card game intervention (p value = 0.00). The combination of these two therapies was proven to significantly improve cognitive function in older adults and may serve as an effective strategy to maintain cognitive health and enhance their overall well-being.
2026-02-18T08:22:02+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://jurnal.magelangkota.go.id/index.php/cendelainovasi/article/view/302ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR PENYEBAB PENURUNAN JUMLAH PENGUNJUNG DI TAMAN KYAI LANGGENG KOTA MAGELANG2026-02-18T08:26:27+00:00Putri Ika PertiwiPuthree.ikha@gmail.comArio Prima SulkaPuthree.ikha@gmail.com
The decline in the number of visitors to Kyai Langgeng Park (TKL) in Magelang City in recent years has impacted regional income and the sustainability of economic activities in the surrounding community. This study aims to identify the factors causing the decline in visits and formulate an appropriate revitalization strategy for the management of Kyai Langgeng Park. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach supported by quantitative data on the number of visitors and ticket prices for the 2021–2025 period. Primary data were obtained through interviews, observations, and questionnaires with managers, visitors, traders, and MSMEs, while secondary data were taken from the DataGo website. The results showed that the decline in visits was influenced by internal factors such as the condition of the facilities that are starting to deteriorate, the lack of attraction innovation, inconsistent service quality, and a ticket price policy that is not commensurate with the value of the benefits received by visitors. External factors include competition with new destinations in the surrounding area, a shift in tourist behavior that prioritizes visual experiences and short tours, and weak digital promotion. The early ticket policy has proven effective in increasing visits, but is short-term. The study concluded that facility revitalization, attraction innovation, strengthening digital promotions, and adaptive pricing policies are key strategies to restore tourist interest and increase the attractiveness of Kyai Langgeng Park.
2026-02-18T08:22:26+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://jurnal.magelangkota.go.id/index.php/cendelainovasi/article/view/244PERBANDINGAN HASIL PENGUKURAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI DI BERBAGAI POSISI TUBUH2026-02-18T09:52:39+00:00Renita Anankaristibambangsmgl@gmail.comDwi Ari Murti Widigdobambangsmgl@gmail.comBambang Sarwonobambangsmgl@gmail.comSunarmi Sunarmibambangsmgl@gmail.com
Blood pressure is influenced by various factors, including age, sex, and body position during measurement. Variations in body position, particularly the lateral position, may affect hemodynamic status and potentially result in differences in blood pressure values. This quantitative study employed a comparative design to determine differences in systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), and Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP) among hypertensive patients measured in the supine, left lateral, and right lateral positions. The study involved 65 respondents selected using non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. The inclusion criteria were male and female patients aged 40–60 years, having both upper limbs intact, and not being ill or experiencing paralysis. The instruments used included a digital sphygmomanometer, a standard operating procedure (SOP) for blood pressure measurement, and an observation sheet. Data were analyzed using the Kruskal–Wallis test and epsilon squared (ɛ²) effect size calculation. The Kruskal–Wallis test showed statistically significant differences in SBP, DBP, and MAP among the three measurement positions (p = 0.000 [<0.001]). The highest mean values of SBP, DBP, and MAP were found in the supine position, while the lowest were observed in the right lateral position. The effect size (ɛ²) was categorized as relatively strong (0.16–0.36). Body position was shown to have a relatively strong influence on blood pressure values in hypertensive patients. These findings highlight the importance of maintaining consistent body positioning during blood pressure measurement to ensure accurate and comparable results.
2026-02-18T08:22:58+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://jurnal.magelangkota.go.id/index.php/cendelainovasi/article/view/295PENERAPAN DESAIN 3D UNTUK MENINGKATKAN EFEKTIVAS PERENCANAAN PEMBANGUNAN BUMDES SEKARMOJO2026-02-18T09:56:19+00:00Evi Fitria Novitasarikkn29pasuruan@gmail.comRahma Dila Nurlailikkn29pasuruan@gmail.comAkmal Farrel Maulanakkn29pasuruan@gmail.comGladys Suci Rahma Yuniarkkn29pasuruan@gmail.com
This study is motivated by the limited competence and knowledge of BUMDes management in Sekarmojo Village, which has relied solely on 2D design in development planning, resulting in slow development processes and low community participation. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method conducted through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, document review, and assistance in developing 3D designs with village officials. The results show that 3D visualization provides a clearer and more realistic representation of the BUMDes spatial layout, thereby strengthening village officials’ understanding and encouraging community involvement in development deliberations. In addition, the use of 3D design accelerates the decision-making process, as indicated by the approval of the BUMDes development plan starting in September 2025. Thus, the study concludes that 3D design functions not only as a technical tool but also as an effective communication medium to enhance transparency, participation, and efficiency in village development planning.
2026-02-18T08:23:39+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://jurnal.magelangkota.go.id/index.php/cendelainovasi/article/view/288REGRESI PANEL SPASIAL: HUBUNGAN TRANSPORTASI DAN TATA RUANG TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN KENDARAAN DI KALIMANTAN TIMUR2026-02-18T08:34:27+00:00Amalia Nindya Kartikaamalianindyakartika@mail.ugm.ac.id
The relocation of Indonesia’s Capital City (IKN) to East Kalimantan presents challenges in managing the linkage between land use and transportation systems. Changes in land use and the increase in motor vehicle ownership may potentially lead to transportation and environmental problems. This study aims to analyze the influence of transportation factors and regional dynamics on the number of motor vehicles in East Kalimantan. This research employs a quantitative approach using panel data regression based on secondary data from 2018–2023 at the regency/city level. The independent variables include road length, total and population growth, economic growth, and the area of built-up and non-built-up land, while the dependent variable is the number of motor vehicles. Model selection was conducted through panel data regression testing, and the results indicate that the Random Effect Model (REM) is the most appropriate model. Partially, only the built-up area (LCT) has a significant effect on the number of motor vehicles, while the other variables are not statistically significant. However, the simultaneous test (F-test) shows that all independent variables collectively have a significant effect on the number of motor vehicles, with a coefficient of determination (R² = 0.4473). These findings highlight that the growth of built-up areas plays a crucial role in increasing motor vehicle numbers in East Kalimantan. Therefore, the integration of spatial planning and transportation systems is essential to support sustainable IKN development.
2026-02-18T08:24:05+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##http://jurnal.magelangkota.go.id/index.php/cendelainovasi/article/view/257IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS GAULGA SEPALAM (GAME ULAR TANGGA SEPUTAR PENGETAHUAN AGAMA ISLAM) DI TPA SALAFIAH2026-02-18T08:27:00+00:00Fitria Noviastutinovifitria824@gmail.comFaola Arinanovifitria824@gmail.comAdi Putra Pratamanovifitria824@gmail.comArif Kurniawannovifitria824@gmail.comRizki Aji Pangestunovifitria824@gmail.comAtha Mahdiyah Salma Putrinovifitria824@gmail.comAhmad Nugroho Santosonovifitria824@gmail.comDiaz Rizka Maulana Zeinnovifitria824@gmail.comMuhammad Anugrah Utama Djaya Prawiranovifitria824@gmail.comGhina Zahira Bima Shofanovifitria824@gmail.comTri Puji Rahayunovifitria824@gmail.com
Islamic Religious Education for early childhood requires engaging and interactive methods to enhance students’ understanding and learning motivation. Although employees continue to perform their formal job duties, their emotional engagement with work tends to decline. This condition is closely associated with the increasing digital workload, such as continuous notifications, unlimited online meetings, and the blurring boundaries between work and personal life. This study aims to examine the effect of digital workload on quiet quitting and to analyze the moderating role of perceived organizational support in this relationship. This study employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The sample consisted of 250 employees aged 20–40 years working in sectors with a high dependence on digital technology. Data were collected through an online questionnaire measuring digital workload, quiet quitting, and perceived organizational support. The results indicate that digital workload has a positive and significant effect on quiet quitting. Furthermore, perceived organizational support has a negative effect on quiet quitting and is proven to moderate the relationship between digital workload and quiet quitting, thereby mitigating the negative impact of digital workload on employee engagement. These findings highlight the important role of perceived organizational support in maintaining employee engagement under high digital work pressure and in preventing the escalation of quiet quitting.
2026-02-18T08:25:09+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
